Business Law

If you are involved in running your own business (or if you are "the business"!), you know the ups and downs. On the one hand, when you earn a dollar, you know it's "your dollar". On the other hand, the day to day operation of the business sometimes becomes overwhelming. Having an experienced attorney on retainer can give you the peace of mind that you need to do what you can do best - earn a living.

We have represented numerous types of small and large businesses in many different areas, such as reviewing and drafting contracts and leases, collecting debts from non-paying customers, drafting agreements between co-owners of businesses (such as Partnership Agreements or Corporate Buy-Sell Agreements), or any number of issues that occur in your day to day operation. By assisting you with these tasks, not only will your business run smoother, you will be able to concentrate on the business itself, and not become bogged down with administrative tasks.

We offer our business clients the option to pay us on an hourly rate for all time spent or by retaining us on an annual basis. The annual retainer gives open access for the every day questions or issues, at no extra charge. Additionally, if more intensive work is needed or litigation occurs, the business client will get a reduced hourly rate for those services.
