New Jersey Estate Planning and Administration

Estate Law comprises more than just Will creation and beneficiary designation. While planning for the future of your estate is an essential aspect of estate law, an effective estate lawyer can also help you plan for your elder years, protect your wealth from excessive taxation, represent your family during the probate process and protect your rights during estate litigation.

Wills, Trusts & Estates

Proper planning ensures that in the event of your death, the things you own will go to the right people, in the right amounts, at the right times. These goals can be attained by the drafting of Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Advance Health Care Directive, and Guardianships.

We help create a plan that suits the unique needs of you and your family. Each client has different personal and financial backgrounds that must be evaluated to ensure that their assets are protected during their lifetime and beyond. Below are just some of the services we provide:

Declares who shall inherit an individual’s assets (beneficiaries) and who will be responsible for distributing them to beneficiaries (executor).

Power of Attorney

Document that appoints an agent to protect one’s person and property in the event of disability. There are various forms of POA’s depending on a client’s needs and preferences.

Living Will

Declares intentions in a situation where there is no reasonable hope of their recovery or regaining a meaningful quality of life. The document states the individual’s preference on medical treatments and procedures if one is unable to directly express their wishes.

Guardianship Proceedings

In a case where proper planning has not occurred, guardianship proceedings handle the care of another. This legal procedure allows for the appointment of the person who is willing to care for the person and their financial responsibilities.

We have extensive experience in navigating the legal process as quickly as possible for the benefit of your loved one.
